Baked Beans

Well, as you can see I tried again with the beans (in a baby food jar rather than a nice Kerr one), and we went out of town for the night, so I put a little water in the jar and left it on the window. It got totally fried!!! Before I left I had one sprout reaching out of the top almost, and when I got back, one sprout was burned and one was reaching under the paper towel I presume to save itself from the sun! They looked irreversably damaged, so into the grave they went as well. Maybe I'll try beans again in the spring.
